What IS It That America Wants, Anyway?

Americans are restless. Some are wrought and many are anxious.

People feel deeply that things aren't moving in the right direction. They don't like what they're seeing, hearing, experiencing.

What's it really all about?

Very simply, a sense is building that the time has come for America to turn the page and move on.

Think about it: This is the nature of our country, anyway. We've always turned to the new, the forward-looking, the future. In fact, when you come right down to it, we're all about tomorrow.

The leaders of the past simply will not do -- on either side: Democrat or Republican [or Socialist, for that matter].

The old ways; the old assumptions; the tired, worn out methods of the past will not work now.

Bottom line: Beyond personalities or ideology, the nation is thirsting for new, fresh, vigorous leadership.

And that's exactly what we will get.
