Doubting Thomas? No, Americans Still Believe!

Caravaggio - Doubting Thomas

As Christians gather to celebrate Easter this Sunday, two-out-of-three Americans still believe the central tenets of Christianity, that Jesus Christ was the son of God who was resurrected on Easter Day, according to a new survey by Rasmussen Reports. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 800 American Adults was conducted on March 31- April 1, 2015 by Rasmussen. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
