Ready For Redz? New Dining Spot Opens Soon!

After a notable 20-year run in the Doubletree Suites in Mount Laurel, GG's, a fine-dining restaurant, will reinvent itself into the casually sophisticated and uptrend second act called Redz, Inspired American Fare. The restaurant’s culinary leadership comes from the worldly and award-winning chef, Mirko Loeffler.

Not to leave the high-traffic dining location empty for long, developer Davis Enterprises will complete an entire retrofit including an expanded lobby bar in under 60 days and open later this month. Redz, named in honor of the fiery and influential red-haired women in Davis' life – including his fiancé, mother, sister and red golden retriever – Redz was conceived and developed to meet the much-changed needs and tastes of the modern business traveler, as well as to provide the comfort and casualness sought by east-coast diners.

“Gone is the formal atmosphere of dining for special occasions only and in its place comes the inviting warmth and energy of Redz,” said Mitchell Davis, owner, Davis Enterprises. “And, of course, our food will stand apart, thanks to Chef Loeffler's inspired culinary approach. The menu offerings and ambiance will be more competitive with the most popular restaurants that this region has to offer and catering to foodies who are looking for unique items that are new, fresh, and sourced locally.”

The longstanding GG's had an epic run, however, as lifestyles changed, its formal dining and “special-occasion” branding resulted in clientele turning to more flexible, casual options. The revamped look, feel and accessibility of Redz is a response to the changes and demand. Located inside the Doubletree Suites located on 515 Fellowship Road North, Mount Laurel, N.J., Redz sports a whole new look with edgier, more open décor, relaxed seating and an inviting bar with a compliment of TV’s to catch the latest score or stock quote.

Redz will be open seven days/week from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm, serving lunch and dinner as well as an exciting bar and bites menu. The menu selection includes starters, soups and salads, as well as entrees featuring everything from seafood to signature steaks that are sourced from the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

"I've cooked my way through Europe, and across America … where I've found my greatest inspirations and a location to feed my truest passions," said Chef Mirko Loeffler, executive chef at Redz. "America is not just a melting pot of cultures, it's a melting pot of cuisines as well. The culinary experience we provide at Redz will be a celebration of America coast-to-coast, from the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, South, Southwest, West Coast and the Pacific Rim. And our wine, beer, and cocktail menus will have the same taste of Americana.”

Chef Loeffler added, “Being a restaurant in the epicenter of the Mount Laurel business corridor, we felt it important to create an experience that resonated with visitors from around the country. Redz will do just that.”
