Christie Hails Faith, Tradition On Rosh Hashanah

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie today released the following statement in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year:
“At the start of Rosh Hashanah, I would like to extend my wishes for a happy and healthy new year to the Jewish community across our state. New Jersey is fortunate to benefit from a vibrant Jewish community that contributes to our cultural diversity through business, academics, service and leadership. The start of these High Holy Days serves as an opportunity to reflect upon the past year with our families, while also looking to the future with a renewed sense of optimism. This Rosh Hashanah, I wish all families the chance to celebrate their faith and traditions among family and friends. L’shana tova u’metukah!”
