Disney On Ice 'Frozen' In Philly Dec.; Tkts. 6/3

Disney On Ice Presents Frozen brings the two time Academy Award winning film ‘Frozen’ to life on ice for 26 performances at the Wells Fargo Center from Thursday, December 25 through Sunday, January 4.

Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, June 3 exclusively through ComcastTIX, online at ComcastTix.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200, or in person at the Wells Fargo Center box office.

“Frozen” has quickly become one of Disney’s most successful new franchises, having received multiple awards, including two Academy Awards and has reached record breaking numbers in sales of the soundtrack and DVD.

The Academy Award-winning tale will be told live for the first time in this production, capturing the dynamic between two royal sisters, Anna and Elsa. Anna, a girl with an extraordinary heart, embarks on an epic journey to find her sister, the magical Elsa, who is determined to remain secluded as she finally feels free to test the limits of her powers. Rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, the lovable and hilarious snowman Olaf and the mystical trolls help Anna along the way in this story about love conquering fear. Audiences will get to sing along with such musical masterpieces as “Let it Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Fixer Upper.”

The New York Times calls Disney On Ice Presents Frozen the “equivalent of a touring Broadway musical”.

The 26 performances open on Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25) at 2p.m. Performances continue on Friday, December 26 at 11a.m., 3p.m. and 7p.m.; Saturday, December 27 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m.; Sunday, December 28 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m.; Monday, December 29 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m.; Tuesday, December 30 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m.; Wednesday, December 31 at 11a.m. and 3p.m.; Thursday, January 1 at 3p.m.; Friday, January 2 at 7p.m., Saturday, January 3 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m. and Sunday, January 4 at 11a.m., 3p.m., and 7p.m.

About Dan Cirucci

He served as Chair of Penn State University's Professional Advisory Board for the Corporate Communication major at Penn State Abington and on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Judicial Selection Commission.

He received his MA degree from Rowan University and his BA from Villanova University. He has been named a Distinguished Alumnus of Rowan's public relations program and received the E. A. "Wally" Richter Leadership Award, the highest honor from the National Association of Bar Executives' Communications Section. He has also been honored by numerous other local, state and national groups.

In his hometown of Camden, Cirucci taught fifth grade at the Ulysses Wiggins Elementary School named for the founder of the Camden NAACP. There he was one of the first teachers in the country to teach African-American history to inner city students. He later served as editor of a local weekly newspaper, as Assistant to the Township Manager of Cherry Hill Township and as Associate Director of Communications at the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Cirucci's passions include politics, the popular culture, books and authors, art, communication, music, theatre, movies, dining and travel.
