Hollywood Legend Mickey Rooney Dies

Old school Hollywood star Mickey Rooney has passed away at the age of 93.

Rooney's body of work spans eight decades, starring in hundreds of films and television shows. He had boyish charm made him a box-office draw from 1939 to 1941. He reinvented himself in the 50's, was known for his role in 1979's "The Black Stallion," and hit it big on Broadway in "Sugar Babies" that same year. Whether it was a role on the silver screen, a TV appearance, or a cartoon voiceover, Rooney kept on going, and going, and going.

Rooney was a Hollywood classic. We were lucky to have him for as long as we did. We will not see his like again.
