Will Foliage Appear Early? Not Now, Not Here

The annual fall foliage spectacular has reportedly already begun in New England and other points north.
But there are no obvious signs of it here yet in the Philadelphia region.
Sure, we do see a tree here and there that seems ready to transform itself.
But we still see lots of deep, dark green on the trees. And our sense is that it may be a couple more weeks yet till the Big Show starts to get underway.
Even though it is officially autumn, it's nice to squeeze every drop of relatively warm weather out of the previous season.
We are in no hurry for the cold weather months. Indeed, the trees will be bare soon enough. Let them tease us. We can be patient. We'll gladly wait for winter. Maybe we can even trick it into not showing up at all. We pretty much managed to do that last year. Why not try it again? That would be fun!
