Good News: Frank Muratore Back At Giumarello's!

Here's a special message from our friend, Frank Muratore who has returned to his familiar stand at Giumarello's Restaurant & G Bar Lounge in nearby Westmont:

ALL OF THE RUMORS WERE TRUE, it's official, I'm back to G's! My first day was Tuesday July 10th and I am delighted to be back where I belong! Come join us for lunch, happy hour or dinner or just to say "Hello!" Spread the word...

Every day, for the past 20 years, brothers Sam and Gian Giumarello have taken great pride in operating their family restaurant. Chef Sam can be found in the kitchen creating new dishes & preparing favorites, while Gian tends to the ever expansive martini menu and wine list by researching, creating and bringing in some of the most sought after drinks.

The doors first opened to Giumarello's Restaurant in 1988. These were very modest beginnings, in the original location, on Station Avenue in Haddon Heights. The dining room sat a very limited number of people and was split between two floors.

Several years with a move to Westmont, the Giumarellos were finally able to realize their dream of accommodating more diners and acquiring a liquor license to operate a separate bar area. They were thrilled to be able to offer guests more than ample parking and complimentary valet service too!

Still, on many weekend evenings the bar area was so crowded with patrons that you could barely walk through without squeezing by.

Finally, in 2008, Giumarello's was able to expand its bar area and give it a new identity: GBar. Lounge was born! Today, Giumarello's and GBar can host private parties as well as hundreds of diners all at the same time.

And nothing makes Giumarello's happier than being able to accommodate everyone who wants to enjoy this ever-popular restaurant and watering hole.

Cirucci served as Associate Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Association for nearly 30 years. He served as Chair of Penn State University's Professional Advisory Board for the Corporate Communication major at Penn State Abington and on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Judicial Selection Commission.

He received his MA degree from Rowan University and his BA from Villanova University. He has been named a Distinguished Alumnus of Rowan's public relations program and received the E. A. "Wally" Richter Leadership Award, the highest honor from the National Association of Bar Executives' Communications Section. He has also been honored by numerous other local, state and national groups.

In his hometown of Camden, Cirucci taught fifth grade at the Ulysses Wiggins Elementary School named for the founder of the Camden NAACP. There he was one of the first teachers in the country to teach African-American history to inner city students. He later served as editor of a local weekly newspaper, as Assistant to the Township Manager of Cherry Hill Township and as Associate Director of Communications at the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Cirucci's passions include politics, the popular culture, books and authors, art, communication, music, theatre, movies, dining and travel.
