Rafa Reads Comic Books, Then Wins French Open

His name is Rafael "Rafa" Nadal Parera.
And he's brought great excitement to the world of tennis.
And though he's still not ranked number one overall he just won the French open -- a record seventh French Open win in eight years.
No player since Andre Agassi has brought more passion, intensity and sheer chutzpah to the game than Nadal. And on clay Nadal is clearly the best of the best.
Here what top-ranked Novak Djokovic (the man who Nadal defeated for the title) said of Nadal: "He's definitely the best player in history on this surface and results are showing that he's one of the best players to have played the game. He's only 26 years old. We are very young and we have played over 30 times against each other. Hopefully, we can have many more battles in the next years."
And what did Nadal say?
Well, celebrating in tears and laughter with his family he was charming, as ever: "It's probably the most special moment of my career," he explained "To hold this trophy is unforgettable, I suffered but I enjoyed it. [On Sunday evening] the ball was heavier than ever and the conditions were much more favorable for Novak. But he played a great match. Today I was very nervous until three minutes before we started. Last night I read comic books."
Comic books?
Ahhhh . . . . youth!
