New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has just arrived here in Mt. laurel and a group of us are packed into a very small room at the Alice Paul Institute to watch the Governor sign legislation funding historic sites.
The Governor has been in South Jersey frequently since he took office. Just in the past week, he's been in Atlantic City, Cape May and Ocean City during his "shore tour." In fact, in my lifetime I know of no Governor who has come to this area of the state more than Chris Christie.
The Governor will also answer questions from the media while he's here and, as we all know, that almost always makes for an interesting story and one can never predict what the Governor's going to say at any particular time.
