'Spending Tour' Puts Pressure On Frelinghuysen

Americans for Prosperity’s “MAXED OUT” Spending Tour will culminate this Saturday, May 14 at 10:00a.m., with a “Rally Finale” at the Parsippany PAL located at  33 Baldwin Road.

The “MAXED OUT” Spending Tour has traveled throughout NJ Congressional District 11 (CD-11) to educate citizens about the gravity of the nation’s spending crisis and to provide Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen’s constituents an opportunity to let him know that they will support his efforts to rein in out-of-control federal spending.

Over the course of the past three weeks, the “MAXED OUT” Spending Tour has stopped over 35 locations in CD-11 and obtained hundreds of signatures for a petition to the congressman reminding him that his constituents are counting on him to address the fiscal crisis.

Saturday’s rally will draw dozens of Representative Frelinghuysen’s constituents and other New Jersey citizens throughout the state to echo the call for the congressman to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington, D.C. and support efforts to rein in the federal government’s runaway spending and debt that threatens the nation’s future economic prosperity.

Speakers will include AFP-NJ state director Steve Lonegan, state Senator Mike Doherty (R-23), Parsippany Mayor James Barberio and several Tea Party leaders.
