Cook: Adler/Runyan Race Now A 'Tossup'

Hour-by-hour, day-by-day and week-by week Jon Runyan is gaining on Congressman John Adler.
And political observers throughout the nation are taking notice.
From yesterday’s Cook Political Report, an independent, nonpartisan newsletter that analyzes and handicaps elections and campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, governors, and the president; and that analyzes political trends:
“…As the overall political environment has deteriorated for Democrats, Adler’s lead has shrunk to low single digits in most internal polls. The district’s large senior population, especially close to the shore, makes it more Republican than New Jersey’s stereotype, and the lack of a statewide race makes core Democratic turnout along the Delaware River a huge concern for Adler. This race can now only be considered a Toss Up.”
