above all remember the innocent human beings
whose lives were willfully and maliciously snuffed out.
Honor their memory by acknowledging
that the acts of September 11
constituted an outrageous atroicity
-- an affront to all human sensibility and all that we hold dear.
Be vigilant. Remain strong.
And strengthen your resolve in the face of evil.
