Another Democrat Backs Christie

Gloucester Township's Democratic Councilwoman Crystal Evans officially endorsed Chris Christie and Kim Guadagno today for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey.
Councilwoman Evans expressed disappointment in Jon Corzine's lack of leadership over the past four years, while citing Chris Christie's commitment of putting New Jersey ahead of politics as reason for her support.
"The people of New Jersey are frustrated and fed-up with Jon Corzine's failed policies and weak leadership. In order to get New Jersey working again, we must have a leader who puts the well-being of our state ahead of partisan politics," said Gloucester Township Councilwoman Crystal Evans.
"Chris Christie has shown his dedication to New Jerseyans by presenting plans that incorporate the best ideas, regardless of from which side of the aisle they come."
Councilwoman Crystal Evans joins Former Asbury Park Councilwoman Kate Mellina, Perth Amboy Democrat Councilman Ken Balut, Elizabeth Board of Education Member and Democrat County Committeeman Tony Monteiro, Former Union County Freeholder and Elizabeth Board of Education Assistant Board Secretary Donald Goncalves, and Garfield Democrat Councilwoman Tana Raymond in their support for the Christie-Guadagno ticket.
