World's Tallest Dog Ailing

From Buck Wolf at About.com:
Our heart goes out to Gibson, the world's tallest dog, who is undergoing chemotherapy as he battles bone cancer. The black-and-white Great Dane, who makes his home in Grass Valley, Calif., stands seven feet high on hind legs. He's is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, and you can see him in all his glory in our photo gallery of World Record Holders, along with the world's oldest dog and another pooch that just might be the world's smallest pup. Veterinarians found a tumor in one of his front legs several months ago. Sandy Hall, Gibson's human companion, says the dog has been cheering up patients while receiving treatments, and is doing well, under the circumstances. Sandy and Gibson recently appeared on Animal Planet's Outrageous Animals, and despite the chemo, they're celebrating the paperback release of their book Gibson Speaks, recounting his adventures with Oprah Winfrey, Jay Leno, Paris Hilton, and other alpha dogs.

There's a donation site for Gibson and Sandy Hall, his owner, at http://www.k9grass.com/gibson . They really need your help to pay for Gibson's mounting medical expenses. Any amount will help!
