View Awkward Family Photos

Families can be awkward, and one website has the photographic evidence.
AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com compiles found family portraits that can only be described as odd, including one of a free-lovin’ hippie family dressed in costumes of the nude human body – complete with appendages – with the youngest daughter playing with the father’s fake penis.
Some are more tame in their weirdness, and feature families in contrived poses or dressed in terrible matching outfits.
Co-creator Ben Garrett says strange family pictures are a universal occurrence, and no family is safe from an awkward photo.
When he asked his friends for submissions they claimed not to have awkward family pictures but Garrett proved them wrong by sifting through their old albums and pulling out some doozies.
For Garrett, the fact that the people in the photos seem completely oblivious to the strangeness makes the shots even funnier, and says, “They’re so perfect because they’re so happy.”
