A man who juggles pancakes for a living is regarded as a consummate professional.
Professional juggler and comedian Scot Nery brings laughter and breakfast to audiences as “The Pancake Juggler,” cooking and flipping flapjacks in the air in crazy ways along to hardcore rap jams.
Nery says his shows are always “really appreciated” by crowds, and insists his work garners more respect than other supposedly important professions.
He jokes, “I get more respect than doctors. But they had to get an education to do what they do. I taught myself.”
Nery isn’t too modest to say he’s “better than everybody else” at pancake juggling, and often goes home and cries after a performance because he knows he inspired so many people.
The pancake flipper also juggles balls and knives, even though those don’t always turn out so well.
Nery once stabbed himself in the face juggling knives and had to stick a tissue in his nose to soak up the blood so he could continue his show.
