Nude Weddings Gain Popularity

From Flash News:
Summer wedding season is around the corner, and nude nuptials may be on the rise.
According to Carolyn Hawkins of the American Association of Nude Recreation, the poor economy could lead more couples to choose a nude wedding over a pricey, traditional one.

Since all a bride and groom really need for a nude wedding is a veil, bow tie, and sunscreen, Hawkins says it’s a cheap alternative.

She knows of a woman who threw an entire nude wedding for just $100, proving that saying your vows in the buff saves thousands.

Hawkins – who’s officiated about 10 nude weddings, sometimes naked herself – says natural nuptials are less stressful on the bridal party, since bridesmaids don’t have to worry about wearing a hideous dress.

She says most nude newlyweds encourage their guests to attend naked, though Hawkins suggests guests bring a towel to sit on during the ceremony, in case it’s hot and sweaty outside.
