The stinky stench in your house may be the result of a ghostly visitor.
According to many paranormal researchers, the presence of a ghost isn’t just felt through cold spots or heard on Electronic Voice Phenomena recordings, but can also be smelled – and sometimes the stench is just plain deadly.
San Diego-based medium and paranormal real estate expert Bonnie Vent says the strange, or sometimes familiar, smell in a person’s home may be the work of a spirit lurking around.
She explains, “Ghost smells are very common. Often the smells are of actual things the spirit person manifested in life, like cigar smoke or perfume. We all know somebody that smells a certain way. Ghosts are the same, and they choose to emit their smells as a way to convey their presence.”
But some ghosts don’t exactly smell like roses.
