'Float Coat' Saves Doggy

From Flash News:
Thanks to a novel flotation device, pooches can doggy paddle with the best of them.

Ruff Wear – a company that sells products for active, adventurous dogs – has just come out with their Big Eddy Float Coat, a doggy life jacket.

According to company spokesperson Susan Strible, it’s modeled after high-end human flotation devices, so Fido will be safer than ever in the water.

The Float Coat is meant to help pups swim without tiring as much, and since it’s so comfy and durable, it’s a hit.

Strible says some doggy users get so accustomed to their Float Coat, they refuse to go in the water without it.

She explains, “Once it’s on, they feel fearless. It makes it easier for them to doggy paddle and enjoy the water.”

The life jacket comes in various sizes, and both chihuahuas and English bulldogs alike can use it.
The handle on top of it makes it easy for owners to pull their pups on and off boats.
Here's what the company says about the device:
If your boat outings involve arrivals and departures in the early morning hours or late evening, make sure that Ruff Wear's K-9 Float Coat™ is around your pooch. In addition to the floatation features, this PFD has reflective trim for visibility and a practical assistance handle for helping your dog over deck railings, pontoons and potential nautical nuisances. Rock Lockster® release buckles allow for easy removal--even when the dog is soaked or reluctant to cooperate.
