There He Goes Again
Does Vice President Biden actually believe that "only FIVE PERCENT of the Taliban is incorrigible?" Only FIVE percent?!?
It depends on what you mean by incorrigible. If you look at the statement it terms of people actively involved in terrorism, then he's about right. If you look at this situation in terms of their disposition to democratic and socially acceptable ideas, such as openness to women's rights and civil liberties, then that number is small. But our mission there has to do with terrorism. Cultural rehabilitation takes a back seat; just to make sure that we're not overreaching there as well.
